SERIES HISTORY AGAINST HIGH POINT
Winthrop and High Point meet for the 29
th time. The Eagles have lost four straight meetings, but lead the all-time series 15-10-3. In last year's meeting in High Point, NC the Panthers scored two goals within a five minute span (73

th minute) to earn a 2-0 win. The last two meetings in Rock Hill the Eagles dropped by one goal, including a 2-1 overtime loss in double overtime in 2016.

The Eagles were voted 7
th in the 2020-21 Big South Conference preseason poll. Campbell is the preseason favorite receiving five first-place votes while High Point is second, just six votes behind. Gardner-Webb was voted third followed by Presbyterian College, USC Upstate, Winthrop, Radford and UNC Asheville.
