SERIES HISTORY AGAINST UNC ASHEVILLE
Winthrop leads the all-time series 27-14-3 in all games and 21-11-2 in regular season Big South meetings. The Bulldogs have won three of the last four meetings with the Eagles winning in their last trip to Greenwood Soccer Field, 3-0. The team that has won the last five meetings recorded a shutout.
A GLANCE AT WINTHROP
Eagles play their third straight road game to start the season and is in search of its first win of the season. Eagles fell 4-2 in the opener to South Carolina and ran into a Campbell team clicking on all cylinders this past Monday.
Grayson Woodard and
Jonathan Foster lead the team in scoring with a goal each. Through the first two games the Eagles have used the exact same starting lineup.

The Eagles were voted 7
th in the 2020-21 Big South Conference preseason poll. Campbell is the preseason favorite receiving five first-place votes while High Point is second, just six votes behind. Gardner-Webb was voted third followed by Presbyterian College, USC Upstate, Winthrop, Radford and UNC Asheville.

After three straight road games the Eagles will finally have a home opener on Sunday, Mar. 7 at 6 p.m. when they take on USC Upstate.
