Eagles Card Low Round Of The Week In Final Round Of Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate

Hilton Head Island, S.C. — Winthrop men's golf carded its lowest round of the week as it jumped four spots in the final round of the Pinnacle Bank Intercollegiate to finish 11th.

  • The Eagles improved by 19 strokes from the second round to the final
  • Senior Ryan Tattan and freshman Austin Mosher tied for the low round on Tuesday at even par
  • Mosher birdied four out of six holes in one stretch of his final round as his even par round was a collegiate-low
  • Tattan has now been at even par or better in five of his last eight rounds
  • Tattan finished T11 while freshman Taylor Hubbard shot a 3-over 75 in the final round and finished T21
  • This is the fifth time in his career with the Eagles that Tattan has a Top 15 finish
  • Out of the six Big South schools competing the Eagles had the third best team score
  • Tattan led the Eagles in Par 3 scoring at 1-under, 1-of-17 individuals in the field to finish under par
  • Hubbard tied for the 5th best Par 4 scoring at 2-over to lead the Eagles while Tattan led the team in Par 5 scoring at 1-under
  • Mosher and Tattan led the team with nine total birdies in the 54-hole event
