Rock Hill, S.C. – The Winthrop Athletic Department will welcome fans back to the Winthrop Coliseum for men's & women's basketball and volleyball games beginning Tuesday, Feb. 23.
A limited number of fans will be permitted to attend the men's basketball games Feb. 23-24, the women's basketball games Feb. 25-26 and then volleyball Feb. 27-28 as well as its final four regular season home games. All Big South Conference games are subject to change at any time.
Winthrop will sell tickets in advance through winthropeagles.com/tickets. Tickets will not be available to purchase at the Coliseum box office on the day of the game. Winthrop Eagle Club members will receive first priority to available tickets on Wednesday, Feb. 17 with access to the general public beginning Thursday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.
Winthrop Eagle Club members should look for specific communication from the Winthrop Athletics staff on how to purchase tickets on Feb. 17. Purchases will be limited to two (2) per person for the men's home basketball games Feb. 23-24. Tickets available for purchase for all indoor athletic events will be sold in pods of two only, physically distanced throughout the Coliseum. With a limited quantity available tickets are expected to go quickly for these home competitions.
Ticket prices will be $12 per ticket/$24 per pod for men's basketball, $5 per ticket/$10 per pod for women's basketball and volleyball.
Winthrop Athletics has implemented COVID-19 protocols in an effort to welcome fans back to inside the Coliseum safely. All visitors must adhere to the guidelines and protocols during the entirety of their visit.
Every person that enters the building must wear a mask upon entering the facility and throughout the building as well as observe social distancing guidelines. Fans will also be asked to follow the guidelines posted throughout the Coliseum. There will be a number of hand sanitizer stations located throughout the concourse for your convenience. Fans are not permitted to come down to the court at any time prior to, during or after any contest.
