Eagles Travel To PC Jan. 19-20, Tuesday Night's Game On ESPNU

Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop looks to remain unbeaten as it heads to Clinton, S.C. to take on Presbyterian College Jan. 19-20. Tuesday night's game will be nationally-televised on ESPNU with a tip time of 7 p.m. while Wednesday's game will be on ESPN+ at 5 p.m.

  • This marks the 40th and 41st meetings between Winthrop and Presbyterian College
  • The Eagles lead the all-time series 26-13 and have won the last three meetings
  • Eagles and Blue Hose first met Jan. 25, 1979 in Clinton with PC winning 83-74
  • In last year's matchup at PC the Eagles held on for an 89-88 victory

  • Chandler Vaudrin is tied with Arms for second on the team in scoring at 11.6 ppg, is tied for the league-lead in rebounds per game (7.4) and leads the conference in assists per game (7.9)
  • Eagles had the 4th most wins at the NCAA D1 level in 2020 with 25 (Kansas/Gonzaga/Belmont tied for most with 26)

LONGWOOD
  • Quinton Ferrell is in his second season with PC and is 13-27 overall (8-14 Big South)
  • Blue Hose have only played four games since Dec. 30 and have dropped two straight to Campbell after a 13-day layoff
  • Have had a total of eight games either canceled or postponed this season
  • PC is 3-5 on the year and 3-1 at home
  • Winston Hill, who made his season debut on Jan. 14 at Campbell is averaging 17.5 ppg and 9.0 rebounds
  • Trevon Reddish is the top active player on the team in scoring at 12.8 ppg and is also hauling in 4.0 rpg
  • Owen McCormack is the only player that has started all eight games on the season and is averaging 10.3 ppg and 5.6 rpg
