Esports Remains Perfect in 2020

Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop Esports continued their impressive start to spring 2020 when they defeated Florida State in League of Legends and Harrisburg in Overwatch.
 
LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
#4 Winthrop has been on a roll to start the spring climbing up the ESPN College League of Legends Coaches Poll. The Eagles took on Florida State and defeated the Seminoles 2-0.  Winthrop League of Legends hasn't conceded a single point since their match on January 26 against Arizona State.
 
OVERWATCH
In their first match of spring 2020, Winthrop Overwatch took down Harrisburg, 2-1. This is Winthrop's second victory over perennial Esports powerhouse Harrisburg in program history. 
 
UP NEXT
League of Legends will take on LSU on February 29 at 4:00 p.m. The Overwatch squad will return this weekend in TESPA action against UCF. Time is still to be determined.
