Upon an interview about Dickson with former alumni standout, and current head coach of the Eagles golf team
Kevin Pendley, he stated that "Taylor has always carried himself with great confidence and has always believed in his ability to play the game". Pendley further stated that he believes therefore Dickson's game has gotten progressively better and more consistent over the years because of his confident attitude.
