- Eagles are 5-2 at home this season, averaging 92.1 ppg
- Josh Ferguson is coming off a season-low two points in the win at High Point as he spent most of the game in foul trouble, but continues to lead the team in scoring at 12.7 ppg and is 7th in the league in rebounding (6.0)
- Hunter Hale had 14 points in the win at High Point as he's second on the team in scoring at 11.5 ppg and 4th in the league with 2.3 threes per game
- D.J. Burns Jr. is the third Eagle averaging double-figures at 11.0 ppg as she's shooting 57 percent from the floor
- In league games only, the Eagles have five players averaging double-figures with Hale (17.0), Vaudrin (11.7), Burns Jr. (11.7), Charles Falden (10.7) and Ferguson (10.3)

- Led offensively by Eric Jamison Jr. at 14.2 ppg as he's also pulling down 5.4 rebounds per game
- Sophomore Jose Perez is second on the team at 12.9 ppg and leads the team with 6.7 rpg (4th in the Big South)
- Last year in the meeting at the Winthrop Coliseum Perez had a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds)
- Jaheam Cornwall is third on the team in scoring (11.1 ppg) and Nate Johnson is fourth with 10.9 ppg
FERGUSON MAKING HIS MARK
Josh Ferguson reached the 500 rebound mark at the end of the 2018-19 season and became the 58th player in Big South Conference history to reach 600 rebounds. Ferguson pulled down eight rebounds in the win over Elon to reach exactly 600 rebounds for his career. He currently ranks 9th all-time in program history and is on pace to finish 3rd all-time. Ferguson is also closing in on 1,000 career points as he currently has 927 and looking to become the 26th player in program history to reach that mark.
TRIPLE-DOUBLE FOR VAUDRIN
Chandler Vaudrin had 10 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists in the league-opening win over Longwood on Jan. 2. It was the first triple-double by a Winthrop player since
Xavier Cooks had 11 points, 15 rebounds and 11 assists against Reinhardt. Vaudrin nearly averaged a triple-double over the first two games of Big South action as he posted 16 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists at Campbell. It was the second triple-double of the season in the Big South and 13
th nationally at the NCAA D1 level. For his efforts against Longwood and Campbell he was named the Big South Conference Co-Player of the Week.
HALE REACHES 1,000 CAREER POINTS
Hunter Hale surpassed 1,000 points in his collegiate career after scoring 17 points in the loss at Furman. Hale's career began at Central Michigan and this last spring Hale transferred to the Eagles from Grand Valley State to begin graduate school and arrived with 926 points in his career. This season Hale is averaging 11.5 ppg as he's started 13-of-14 games he's played this season.
