ROCK HILL, SC - Winthrop women's soccer looks for its first win of the 2019 season on Thursday night as the Eagles travel to Orangeburg, South Carolina to take on the South Carolina State Bulldogs of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference for a 7 p.m. kickoff. The Eagles have dropped contests to Davidson, Wofford, and College of Charleston to start the season but look for their eighth straight win overall over the Bulldogs dating back to 2011. South Carolina State comes into Thursday's match with a 1-3 overall record fresh off a 3-1 win over Alcorn State. 

On Sunday afternoon, Winthrop hosts East Tennessee State of the Southern Conference for a 7 p.m. kickoff from Eagle Field in Rock Hill. Entering Thursday's action, the Buccaneers have a 2-2-2 record on the season, most recently defeating Delaware State 5-2 in Dover, Delaware. Prior to coming to Rock Hill, East Tennessee State is set to host Radford for a 7 p.m. kickoff Friday night in Johnson City.
