LAST TIME OUT
The Eagles and Highlanders met just over a month ago in Virginia with Radford coming away with a 70-49 victory. Winthrop had a strong first half, leading by five after the first quarter and trailing by only four at the break but Radford's potent offense outscored the Eagles 45-28 in the second half.
Jah'Che Whitfield led the Eagles with 13 points and
Courtney Hagaman added 10.
SCOUTING RADFORD
Radford is 17-6 overall and 11-1 on the year and has won nine straight contests. The Highlander's victory over Winthrop on January 12 started the string of nine consecutive wins. In its current winning streak, Radford is beating its opponents by an average of 20 points per game. The Highlanders had to go to two overtimes against High Point on February 9 to keep the streak alive.
ALL-TIME AGAINST RADFORD
Tuesday will be the 78
th all-time meeting between the Eagles and Highlanders. Radford holds a commanding 61-16 lead in the series and has won the last seven meetings. Winthrop's last victory came February 17, 2015.

Winthrop will be off for the next week as Saturday is the team's last bye date. The Eagles will hit the road for an in-state contest next Tuesday against the USC Upstate Spartans.
