Overwatch to Open Tespa Varsity Group Stage

Rock Hill, S.C. - Winthrop Overwatch will begin their run in the Tespa Varsity group stage this weekend after recently qualifying for the event through the play-in round. The Eagles have been working hard since a strong showing at the Harrisburg University Esports Invitational.

The Eagles Tespa schedule features a rematch from the 2019 HUE Invitational with Maryville University along with some interesting new opponents. The Eagles lost to Maryville before the Saints went on to win the tournament.
