ROCK HILL, SC— After a couple of weeks off the Winthrop men's golf team is ready to get back on the course as it heads to the Outer Banks to compete in the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate.

A GLANCE AT THE EAGLES

• Winthrop is just 1-of-2 Big South programs in the field
• Ryan Tattan, Zak Butt and Tyler Koch all played in the event last season
• Butt finished T22 at +4 while Koch was T56 at +15 and Tattan finished +16 as he fired a final round 71
• Butt opened last year's event with a 75 and followed that with a 71 in back-to-back rounds for his highest finish of 2018-19
• As a team the Eagles finished 5^th, firing one of the lowest team scores in the final round
• The Eagles will be paired with Drake and George Mason for Sunday's first round
