Rock Hill, S.C. – Winthrop volleyball (12-4, 4-0) will head to Boiling Springs N.C., tomorrow to take on the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs. This will be the only conference match of the week for the Eagles. The Eagles remain undefeated in Big South play and look to continue that streak on Friday.

A Look at Gardner-Webb
The Runnin' Bulldogs are 2-13 and 0-4 in conference play this season. Their preseason wins came against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3-0) and Alabama A&M (3-1). Gardner-Webb has struggled early on in conference play, being swept in all four contests. The Runnin' Bulldogs have been led by Elizabeth Griffith (MB/RS) with 1.89 kills per set and Charissa Coleman (DS) with 2.82 digs per set.
Winthrop leads the All-Time record with Gardner-Webb, 30-4, including two wins in the 2018 season.

In a nonconference match on Tuesday, The Eagles saw their nine-match win streak snapped by the Charlotte 49ers (3-2). Senior libero,
Hannah Lackey, recorded a career high 28 digs for the Eagle's defense. Big South Player of the Week,
Siani Yamaguchi, finished with 43 assists and 21 digs.
Morgan Bossler finished with a team high 15 kills and
Emily Wunder was second with 13. This was the fourth consecutive match that Bossler and Wunder were two of the top three attackers for the Eagles.
