WINTHROP AT A GLANCE

Anika Riley scored a team-high 16 points in Winthrop's setback against Western Carolina in the team's last game on December 21. Riley leads the team with 8.7 points per game while freshman
Kem Nwabudu follows closely with 8.3 points per game. The pair also lead the team in rebounding with 7.9 and 5.1 rebounds respectively.
SCOUTING LONGWOOD
Longwood comes to the Winthrop Coliseum with a 1-9 overall record, having dropped seven straight contests. The lone victory for the Lancers came November 27 over Maryland Eastern Shore. Longwood has two players averaging double figure this season, Dayna Rouse with 12.3 and Stephanie Guihon with 10.2 points per game.
ALL-TIME AGAINST LONGWOOD
The Eagles and Lancers have played an extremely tight all-time series. Saturday will be the 22
nd meeting with the Lancers holding an 11-10 edge in the series. The squads split their two games last year with each winning on their home floor.
WHAT'S UP NEXT
Winthrop will continue with Big South play at home with a Tuesday contest against Charleston Southern. Tip between the Eagles and Buccaneers is slated for 7 p.m.
