ROCK HILL, SC—Former Winthrop women's golfer Meagan Wallace has advanced to stage II of the LPGA Q-School.
Wallace competed in stage I Aug. 20-26 at the Mission Hills Country Club (Dinah and Palmer Courses) in Rancho Mirage, CA and Shadow Ridge Golf Club in Palm Desert, VA. Approximately 100 players advanced to stage II as Wallace finishes tied for 46
th. Wallace carded scores of 79-71-79-71 to advance.
Stage II of Q-School will take place Oct. 13-18 in Venice, FL as the field will compete at the Plantation Golf and Country Club. Approximately the Top 15-25 players and ties will advance to Q-Series.
During her time at Winthrop she was a 2013 All-Conference performer and four-time Big South Golfer of the Week.
