ROCK HILL, SC— The Winthrop women's golf team is ready to open its fall season when it heads to Greensboro, NC for the Starmount Fall Classic Oct. 1-2. The Eagles were set to open two weeks ago but the event was canceled due to Hurricane Florence.

Format: 54-Hole Tournament (Sunday practice round / Monday 36 holes / Tuesday 18 holes)
Tournament Field: Appalachian State, Elon, High Point, Longwood, Tennessee, Tennessee Tech, Towson, Troy, UAB, UNC Greensboro, Western Carolina, William & Mary, Winthrop, Wofford
