How It Happened
The Eagles committed too many unforced errors in the first set and could not slow down Radford's offense, allowing them a .370 team hitting efficiency. Leistiko had three kills no errors in the first set and
Sydney Gunter added three kills and a .250 hitting efficiency.
They struggled to gain momentum in the second set, matching Radford point for point, until a 4-0 Radford scoring run gave them a 6-10 lead. The Eagles went on a late run of their own to get within two points, 20-22, and two back to back Leistiko kills put the score at 22-23 but Radford responded with two kills for the set victory. Leistiko had five kills in the set.
The third set was all Radford as they cruised to a 15-25 set and match victory. Kylie Tuxford had a match high 11 kills while Valeria Gonzalez and Mallory McKnight added in 10 kills apiece.
