Rock Hill, SC – The Eagles lost their first home match of the season in a 0-3 (15-25, 22-25, 15-25) sweep to Radford, dropping them to 2-1 in conference and 6-9 overall. Radford moves to 3-0 and 11-1, this win puts them at number one in Big South standings. The Eagles were led by Lily Leistiko for the third consecutive match, the freshman tallied 9 kills with only one error for an efficiency of .615. Pheobe Wu recorded 15 digs and Carlie Skelton had 12. 

How It Happened
The Eagles committed too many unforced errors in the first set and could not slow down Radford's offense, allowing them a .370 team hitting efficiency. Leistiko had three kills no errors in the first set and Sydney Gunter added three kills and a .250 hitting efficiency.

They struggled to gain momentum in the second set, matching Radford point for point, until a 4-0 Radford scoring run gave them a 6-10 lead. The Eagles went on a late run of their own to get within two points, 20-22, and two back to back Leistiko kills put the score at 22-23 but Radford responded with two kills for the set victory. Leistiko had five kills in the set.

The third set was all Radford as they cruised to a 15-25 set and match victory. Kylie Tuxford had a match high 11 kills while Valeria Gonzalez and Mallory McKnight added in 10 kills apiece.
