LAST TIME AGAINST RADFORD
Winthrop and Radford opened Big South conference play on January 2 in Radford, VA. The Highlanders downed the Eagles 78-52. Junior
Courtney Hagaman scored a season-high 25 points on 8-of-15 shooting from the floor and 4-of-8 shooting from three-point range. The Eagles were unable to stop the hot-shooting Highlanders who finished shooting 45 percent from the field.
SCOUTING RADFORD
Jayda Worthy and Destinee Walker have led the Highlanders offensively this season, averaging 11.7 and 11.1 points respectively. Radford has two players averaging more than eight rebounds per game; Janayla White is pulling down 8.5 while Lydia Rivers is grabbing 8.0 boards per game.
Radford is averaging 60.3 points per game this season while allowing only 54.9. The Highlanders are shooting 41 percent from the field and 29 percent from beyond the arc. Radford has averaged 2.3 more rebounds than its opponents this season.
ALL-TIME AGAINST RADFORD
Radford leads the all-time series against the Eagles 59-16. The Highlanders have won the last five contests over Winthrop. Winthrop's last victory came February 17, 2015, winning at home 66-45.
