Rock Hill, SC – The Eagles are set to play their last regular match of the season against High Point University on Friday, at 6:00 p.m. In their first match up of the season, back in September, the Eagles handedly upset the Panthers on their home court. They won in three consecutive sets 25-13, 25-19, 25-21.

In a four-set win against Gardner Webb on Tuesday, the Eagles (14-13, 10-5) were led by outside hitter,
Jace Kleffner, who managed 18 kills (.275), in just three sets played. Â
Phoebe Wu had her fourth consecutive double-double with 17 kills and 13 digs.
Carlie Skelton just missed her career high in digs, finishing with 28 for the night. With the win on Tuesday, the Eagles hit their first double digit conference win record since the 2011 season.
High Point (18-8, 13-1) has not lost a match since the Eagles defeated them in their third conference match of the season; in fact, the Panthers have only lost one set in conference play since the loss. Senior, middle blocker, Molly Livingston has led the conference in overall hitting percentage (.366) and is top five in kills per set (2.81). Libero, Abby Bottomley, is also a top statistical leader with 5.38 digs per set and 473 total season digs.
Friday will be the last match played in the Winthrop Coliseum for four of our seniors. There will be a brief ceremony prior to the match honoring
Carlie Skelton,
Phoebe Wu, Lou Rosario, and
Hanna Spevak.
