Tattan Finishes Tied For 12th To Pace Eagles At Firestone Invitational

AKRON, OH — Winthrop sophomore men's golfer Ryan Tattan had a career-best finish tying for 12th to lead the Winthrop men's golf team at the Firestone Invitational.

  • Ryan Tattan had his best collegiate finish as he tied for 12th with a 54-hole total of 215 (-1)
  • Tattan led the team with 11 birdies and finished +1 in both Par 3 and Par 4 scoring
  • Michael McKee and Zak Butt tied for the team low score in the final round as each shot 73 (+1)
  • McKee led the team with 37 pars in the tournament, which tied for the 3rd most in the field
  • The Eagles finished 13th overall as they moved up one spot in the final round
