Rock Hill, SC – The Eagles are on a four-match win streak headed into tomorrow's match up against Big South new comer, Hampton. On Tuesday the Eagles defeated Campbell in three sets at Campbell University.

On Tuesday, in a three-set sweep over Campbell (25-13, 25-19, 25-18), Lily Leistiko posted 11 kills (.455) and three blocks; fellow middle blocker, Makayla Doyle, added in an additional 10 kills (.556.) Player of the Week, Siani Yamaguchi, continued her successful junior campaign with 40 assists and set her team to a .319 overall hitting percentage. Defender of the Week, Carlie Skelton recorded 18 digs for 6 digs per set.

Hampton is 1-4 in conference and 6-9 overall. Their one conference win was in a four-set match against UNC Asheville. Hampton has lost to USC Upstate, Charleston Southern, High Point, and Radford University. They will travel to Boiling Springs to play Gardner Webb this evening. Megann Delgado leads the Pirate offense with 3.74 kills per set and an efficiency of .240. Hampton and Winthrop have only met three other times with Winthrop winning all three matches.
