OPENING WEEKEND
Winthrop went 1-2 this past weekend at Eagle Challenge in Morehead, KY. The Eagles lost against Youngstown 3-0 to start the season off but bounced back in the second game against Delaware State to win 3-0 on Friday. Winthrop fell to the host of the tournament Morehead State 3-2 on Saturday.
 
WHAT'S AT STAKE
With a win on Tuesday, the Eagles will improve to 8-2 in home openers since 2007.
 
SCOUTING WOFFORD
The Terriers are 1-2 on the young season after going 1-2 this past weekend in the Tennessee Classic. They lost the first two games of the tournament going 2-3 against George Washington University and 0-3 against University of Tennessee. Wofford did win the third game against Western Michigan University 3-2.
 
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the fourteenth meeting between Winthrop and Wofford as Winthrop holds a 13-1 lead over the Terriers.

 Winthrop hits the road this weekend as they travel to Troy, Alabama to take on Northwestern State, Jackson State, and Troy in the Troy Tournament.
