ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop volleyball team will finish its regular season this week as it will travel to Gardner-Webb Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. and Presbyterian College Saturday beginning at 4 p.m.

SO FAR THIS SEASON
The Eagles are 5-6 on the road this year and 2-4 in conference road games. Earlier this season against Gardner-Webb, Winthrop won 3-1, sophomore Sydney Gunter had 16 kills and senior Keupono Fey had 10. Sophomore Siani Yamaguchi had 43 assists. Winthrop beat Presbyterian College earlier this season 3-2 after Winthrop going up 2-0 and the Blue Hose fought back to tie it 2-2 but fell in the fifth set. Eulitz had 14 kills in that game. Junior Phoebe Wu had 16 kills before exiting the game with an injury. Fey had 15 kills and Yamaguchi had 53 assists. Gunter has 296 kills on the season and Fey has 267. Junior Carlie Skelton has 383 digs.
SCOUTING GARDNER-WEBB
The Bulldogs are on a 12-game losing streak. They have only one win in conference and that was against UNC Asheville and that was their last win on Sept. 26. In their 12-game losing streak they have only won seven sets. Nicole Celarek leads the team in kills with 235. Emma Milstead has 445 digs and Amanda Sahm has 698 assists.
SCOUTING PRESBYTERIAN COLLEGE
The Blue Hose have won three of their last four games. They beat Liberty and Gardner-Webb this past weekend but fell to UNC Asheville Tuesday. Before going on a three game winning streak they lost 12 of their last 13 games. Erin Eulitz leads the team in kills with 345 and has 339 digs. Jaclyn Brewington has 639 assists.
WHAT'S UP NEXT
The Eagles will be traveling to Radford, VA to be part of the Big South Conference Tournament on Nov. 17-19.
