Game Recap
- Gardner-Webb struck very early in the game as Alain Delgado opened the scoring with his first of the season
- Almost a minute after the goal Max Hasenstab looked to equalize but Jacob Beyer made the save
- The Runnin' Bulldogs struck again in the 6th minute as Magnus Moldjord, who assisted on the first goal, notched his eighth goal of the year
- Down 2-0 the Eagles applied some pressure but shots by Rasmus Arousell, Jogvan Jacobsen, and Marc Carreras missed wide
- The third goal came in the 30th minute came off a corner as Jack Hoey scored his second goal of the year
- Severin Soerlie scored off a cross from David Koprowski just around the top of the six for a 4-0 lead before the half
- Gardner-Webb added two more in the second half, both off crosses
- The Eagles had six shots during a short span midway through the half with the best chance coming from Hasenstab as he his shot was saved by Will Liles
- Arousell was robbed in the 77th minute as his shot toward the open goal was deflected away by a defender and then Evan Stout's shot on the rebound was saved by Liles

- While the scoreboard wasn't even, the overall stats were as the Gardner-Webb had a 17-16 edge in shots and 9-6 in shots on goal
