A GLANCE AT THE EAGLES
- Freshman Noah Peterson was the top finisher for the Eagles in their first tournament of the fall as he fired a 2nd round 70 on his way to a +4 finish in the 54-hole Louisville Cardinal Challenge
- Peterson qualified as Winthrop's number two this week, up one spot from the season opening event
- Peterson's 70 was the lowest round by an Eagle in the even as Zak Butt fired the second and third lowest scores with a first round 71 and final round 72
- Butt is playing in the number one position for the second straight event
- As a team the Eagles finished tied for 7th with the University of Louisiana-Monroe at the Louisville Cardinal Challenge
