The Eagles are 3-2 this season on the road. The Eagles sophomore Sydney Gunter leads the team in kills with 214. Senior Keaupono Fey has 190 kills and junior Carlie Skelton has 284 digs.
 
SCOUTING UNC ASHEVILLE
The Bulldogs went 4-7 this season when it comes to non-conference games. They are 2-2 in conference this season with wins against Gardner-Webb and Campbell and loses against Gardner-Webb and Liberty. UNC Asheville is 3-0 this season at home. The Bulldogs Cara Guthrie is leading the team in kills with 36 and 23 digs.  
 
SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 70th meeting between Winthrop and UNC Asheville as Winthrop holds a 41-28 lead over the Eagles. The Bulldogs won the last match 3-1.
