ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop volleyball team travels to Liberty on Friday Oct. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Vines Center and will travel to Radford on Saturday Oct. 14 at 4 p.m. at the Dedmon Center.

After winning four straight in conference play, Winthrop has dropped its last two games. Sophomore

Siani Yamaguchi has 769 assists with a 9.99 assists per set. Junior
Carlie Skelton had 317 digs.
SCOUTING LIBERTY
The Flames are 3-3 in conference play. They opened up conference with a loss to High Point, won their next three and then lost the next two. Both Liberty and Winthrop are on a two game losing streak. Anna Gragg leads the Flames with 159 kills while Casey Goodwin is right behind her with 158 kills. Margaret Latchford leads the team in digs with 258. This will be the 50
th meeting between the two teams with Liberty holding a 31-18 lead over Winthrop. Liberty won the last meeting 3-1.
SCOUTING RADFORD
The Highlanders started conference play on a 3-0 winning streak but then loss two in a row but came back with a win against Presbyterian College. Maddie Palmer leads the Highlanders with 257 kills while Haley Kleespies has 612 assists. Palmer also leads the team in digs with 204. Winthrop and Radford faced each other already this season where Radford won 3-0.
WHAT'S UP NEXT
After playing five straight games on the road, Winthrop will be back at home on Oct. 20 where they will take on Liberty beginning at 7 p.m.
