BRIDGEPORT, WV—Sawyer Mills posted a 71 to lead Winthrop men's golf in the final round of The Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational, Tuesday afternoon. Mills finished tied for 27^th while the Eagles finished 13^th.

• Michael McKee opened the event with a 73 as he followed that up with a 71
• Sawyer Mills matched the 71 in his final round to tie McKee for low round by an Eagle
• The T27th by Mills was his best finish since T4th at the East Bay Deli Classic at Kiawah (Oct. 30-Nov. 1, 2016)
• McKee had the second lowest 54-hole total by an Eagle as he placed tied for 43^rd
• Mills finished -1 in Par 3 scoring, which was tied for the third lowest
• Winthrop has a team finished tied for 3^rd with Par 3 scoring
• Noah Peterson finished among the leaders in Pars made with 36 while Mills finished with 35
