Rock Hill, SC – The Winthrop women's soccer team will be looking for its second win of season when the Eagles host in-state rival Coastal Carolina Friday night at Eagle Field at 7 p.m.

Spencer Smith's Eagles are teaming up with the Lutzie 43 Foundation for a good cause as fans will be admitted free to the game and donations will be accepted at the main entrance to benefit the foundation that honors the late brother of former Winthrop player Ann Lutzenkirchen.
The Eagles are looking to improve above .500 in the all-time series against Chanticleer as the record stands at 7-7-2. The last time Coastal came to Eagle Field, the Eagles came out with a 3-0 victory.
The Eagles will enter the game with a 1-1 record after defeating USC Upstate 1-0 on Tuesday night in Spartanburg. Freshman
Keeley Leising's goal proved to be the winner.
Coastal Carolina comes into the game with a record of 1-0-1. The Chanticleer won their last game on Sunday with a 4-0 decision over Wofford.
