ROCK HILL, SC—Winthrop heads north for its fourth road contest of the season in Dayton, OH as it takes on the University of Dayton, Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.

Winthrop is coming off a 58-57 victory in overtime against Furman at home and comes into the contest with a 4-2 mark. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Ohio or fans can listen to Dave Friedman with the play-by-play on 104.1 The Bridge.

This will be the fourth time Winthrop and Dayton will square off as the Flyers have won all three meetings that have taken place in UD Arena. These two teams last met on Jan. 1, 2014 and two of the three meetings in the series have come during head coach Pat Kelsey's tenure.

Senior Anders Broman was the hero on Wednesday as he helped the Eagles avoid two straight losses at home when he tracked down a loose ball and banked home a game-winning three with 1.4 seconds to play. He finished the game with 12 points and is averaging 7.8 on the year. In three road contests so far, Anders Broman is averaging 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists.

Johnson missed the road game at Florida State but in the two road contests he's played he scored 38 points (at Illinois) and 22 points (at Manhattan).

Two of the last three games have gone into overtime for the Eagles after not one game went past regulation in all of 2015-16. Winthrop is 6-4 in its last 10 overtime games. Since becoming a D1 member in 1985-86, Winthrop has never had three overtime games in a four-game span.

The Flyers dropped their first game 80-78 to Nebraska before capturing back-to-back wins over Portland (84-74) and New Mexico (64-57).
