The Lady Eagles picked up a thrilling 2OT win over South Carolina State last Friday night. After falling behind 1-0 late in the match, Winthrop forced overtime when Sam Prytulak netted a 90' equalizer. Taylor Coleman was able to boost the Eagles to a 2-1 victory when she scored in the 109th minute of the match.
WHO TO WATCH
Prytulak picked up her first goal of the season in the win over South Carolina State and is second on the team in scoring early this season. Freshman JoJo Taylor has provided an extra spark in the attack for Winthrop. She has two goals on the year and leads the team with four points. Goalkeeper Karly Gustafson picked up her first win for Winthrop between the pipes on Friday.
