SERIES HISTORY
This marks just the second meeting all-time between Winthrop and Jacksonville State. The two teams met last season in Jacksonville, AL where the Gamecocks hit a three with 1.4 seconds left in overtime for a 79-76 win.

EAGLES MAKE HISTORY
The Eagles posted 102 points in their season opener and followed that up with 106 points in the second game. It was the first time in the history of the program that the Eagles scored 100 or more points in back-to-back games.

THE MATCHUP
The Eagles have posted back-to-back 100-point games and have connected on 25 threes in the first two games. Winthrop has been to the line 75 times in two games and knocking down 73 percent at the charity stripe. This will be the fifth game of the season for the Gamecocks as they're coming off a 71-62 loss at Virginia Tech on Wednesday. The Eagles have averaged 12.5 three-pointers per game while the Gamecocks are knocking down 7.0 per game.

JEFFREY LEE WILLIAMS FOUNDATION
The Jeffrey Lee Williams Foundation is sponsoring this game. The foundation was established after Jeffrey Lee Williams died from Carbon Monoxide poisoning in a hotel. His family started the foundation with the mission to promote Carbon Monoxide awareness and prevent poisonings from happening in the future. At halftime, the Jeffrey Lee Williams foundation will be giving away a vacation to the Smokey Mountains along with over 200 other prizes. To have a chance to win all you have to do is be in attendance. Big Stuff will be signing one program on the Jeffrey Lee Williams Foundation ad in the program, found on page 18. The one lucky fan that receives the program will automatically win the mountain house vacation in the Smokey's.
