Freda Looks to Break Conference Scoring Record Against Alabama A&M on Saturday

ROCK HILL, SC- The Winthrop women's soccer team return from a six day break in its schedule to host Alabama A&M on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. This is the second meeting between the two teams with the Lady Eagles defeating the Lady Bulldogs 11-1 last season in Huntsville. Senior Krystyna Freda will attempt to become the Big South's all-time leading scorer, being just three goals behind the record of 53. Winthrop's offense is currently led by Freda in all offensive categories, while Devin Puckett has also seen the back of the net twice this year. Sophomore Caroline Duncan continues to gain starts in goal making 12 saves this season, while Amelia Henderson works her way into getting more minutes.
