WINSTON-SALEM, NC – The women's volleyball team fell in its two matches Saturday at the Wake Forest Invitational, dropping 3-0 decisions to UNC Wilmington and Wake Forest.
“We continued to prove that we have no consistent player on the court,” head coach Julie Torbett said. “We did not get any senior leadership or quality play from out back court. We are young and that means learning under fire. We will get better.”

The second and third sets went much the same as the first. The Eagles started each set strong, but faltered as the sets progressed allowing the Demon Deacons to pull away. Wake Forest won the second set 25-15 and the third 25-14.
