Box Score ROCK HILL, SC--Winthrop's Becca Toor has been named the Big South Conference Choice Hotels Player of the Week in volleyball for a third time this season following her performance last weekend against Charleston Southern and Coastal Carolina.
 
Toor, a senior from Rotonda West, FL and the Big South Conference Preseason Player of the Year, put away 38 kills and averaged .460 at the net to lead Winthrop to its two wins last week to open Big South play.  The middle hitter got her week started with a personal high 26 kills and a .476 hitting percentage, to go along with one ace and a block as Winthrop claimed a 3-1 win over Charleston Southern on Friday night.  The next day against Coastal Carolina, Toor had 12 kills and a .429 attack percentage.  She also chipped in seven blocks and an ace in the 3-0 win over the Chanticleers. 

Winthrop freshman libero Catherine Brusie (Lapeer, MI) was an honorable mention for Freshman of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors.
