ROCK HILL, SC—The deadline for purchasing season tickets and receiving a free WU t-shirt for the 2009-10 Winthrop men's and women’s basketball home games is Oct. 30. 

 

The men will play 13 home games while the Winthrop women have 14 regular season contests and one exhibition game.Tickets can be purchased at the Winthrop Coliseum ticket office, or they can be ordered by mail using the ticket order form that can be found on www.winthropeagles.com.All previous season ticket holders have until Oct. 1 to purchase the same seats they had last year.  After the Oct. 1 deadline,  previous season ticket holders will not be guaranteed their same seats.   Single game tickets will not go on sale until Oct. 30.The prices for a reserved men’s season ticket are $110 each while a general admission season ticket for Lady Eagle games is priced at $45 each.  Fans may also purchase a combined season ticket for men’s and women’s home games for $135 each.  Included in the season ticket package is one WU basketball t-shirt per ticket purchased.

 

Packages are also available for Young Alumni (those receiving undergraduate degrees from Winthrop within the last five years), Winthrop Faculty/Staff, and the popular Family Pack. Young Alumni and Faculty/Staff season tickets will cost $90 each for men’s games and $115 for the combo ticket.  The Family Pack, which includes four season tickets, four WU t-shirts, and two large Papa John’s pizzas, is priced at $335 for men’s games and $435 for the combo pack.  Additional Family Pack tickets can be purchased for $80 each for men’s games and $105 for the combined men’s and women’s packet.
