ROCK HILL, SC-- Winthrop's Daniel Revivo isn't leading the country in scoring this week, but he still remains among the nation's top scorers.
The senior forward is averaging two points per game, which is currently 10th best in the nation. He is tied with five other players at 10th and the nation's leading scorer is Sam Arthur of South Carolina at 2.57 ppg.
Revivo has seven goals in eight games this year for an average of .88 per game, which ranks 11th best in the nation. His total of seven goals is just one shy of the national lead. Arthur, Carlos Villa (Hartford) and Samuel Patrone (Seton Hall) currently lead the country with eight goals.
Revivo ranks first in the Big South in points, points per game, goals and game-winning goals.
Matthew Skonicki is currently second in the league in total points with eight, third in goals (3) and is fourth in points per game (1.0). Michael Luk is sixth in points with six.
Patrick Mitrovich is ranked second in the league with a 1.21 goals against average, first in saves, and is tied with a league best two shutouts.
