ROCK HILL, SC--On Sept. 3, the Winthrop Eagle Club will offer "Winthrop Eagles 101" that will provide a behind-the-scenes look at Winthrop sports with guided tours of the athletic facilities, dinner and a chance to meet the student-athletes of Winthrop's fall sports teams..

Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. with guided bus tours scheduled each 30 minutes.  At 7 p.m., dinner will be served and the 2008 fall sports teams, including men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s golf will be introduced.

Reservations are required. Tickets are $20 per person and $10 for children ages 13 and under. The event is free for Eagle Club members who have joined or renewed their 2008-09 membership at the Coaches Level or higher ($300 and above).
