ROCK HILL, SC--Winthrop men's golf coach Kevin Pendley has announced the signing of Cameron Bell of Charlotte, NC to a national letter-of-intent to play for the Eagles in 2008-09.

Bell is ranked as the 20th top senior and 34^th best overall player in state of North Carolina by the Carolinas Golf Association.  He finished seventh at the 2007 Joe Cheves Junior Invitational, tied for 13^th at 2007 Carolinas Junior Championship, and won the w007 Carmel Junior Championship.

He is the son of Edgar and Kimberly Bell.

“We are very excited to have Cameron sign with our program," said Pendley. "He is a fine young man with a lot of ability to play this game at a very high level.  We are very excited about his future and helping take our program to new heights.”
