ROCK HILL, SC-- Sunday's softball game between Winthrop and Radford marks the first time a Big South Conference match-up will be aired on national television. The game will be played at Terry Field at 1 p.m. and the first 100 fans through the gate will receive free T-Shirts.
The game opens a three-game series and features two of the top three schools in the Big South and both schools are ranked among the national leaders in several statistical categories.
The ESPNU broadcast will be the first of a double-header on Sunday and the second game will not be aired on television and will begin approximately 20 minutes after the end of the first game.
