ROCK HILL, SC-- The Winthrop softball team post-season awards continued to roll in on Friday as three members were named to the CoSIDA All-Academic District Teams.

Senior Laura Hill and sophomore Lisa Kingsmore were both named to the first team all-district. Hill was named as the designated player for her 3.88 GPA as a biology major and chemistry minor. Kingsmore was chosen to the outfield as she has maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA in her first two seasons.

Sophomore Tessa Thomas was named to the second team as an outfielder. Thomas has a 3.99 GPA in Art History.

All three players were selected to the All-Big South First Team on Wednesday as the tournament awards banquet.
