ROCK HILL, SC-- The Winthrop men's soccer team had five players selected to the NSCAA/adidas All-South Atlantic Region teams.

Daniel Revivo, a junior forward from Richmond Hill, Ontario, was the only player named to the first team. Revivo led the Eagles in scoring with 13 goals and four assists.

Seniors John Gilkerson, Saidi Isaac, junior Otto Loewy and sophomore Stephen Nsereko were named to the second team. Gilkerson and Loewy helped anchor one of the top defenses nationally allowing 0.68 goals per game, ranked 14th. Isaac was second in scoring with 12 goals and five assists. Nsereko led the team with seven assists.

Gilkerson, Isaac, Nsereko and Revivo were also named to the First Team All-Big South. Loewy was a second team selection.

The five selections were the most of any team in the region and the most Winthrop has ever placed on the All-Region teams. Fellow Big South foe Liberty placed three on the region team. Winthrop also led the Big South Conference voting with five first team selections.
