ROCK HILL, SC—Winthrop soccer player Donald MacGregor was named to the Verizon Academic All-America Men’s Soccer All-District Team, Friday afternoon.

 

     The junior defender holds a 3.55 grade point average while majoring in Sport Management. He’s played a big part in the Eagles 12-5-1 season and regular season Big South Conference league title. He’s been a Dean’s List member and also on the Big South Conference President’s list.

 

     The two-time All-Big South selection has three goals and four assists in 18 games played this year.
