He was named NAIA All-American 1^st team in 1981 and 1982..He was selected NAIA All-District 6 in 1981 and 1982. He still ranks first among Winthrop’s all-time scorers with 1,850 points while playing in 92 games. He averaged 20.1 points and 10 rebounds per game during his three-year career. He still ranks first among Winthrop’s all-time rebound leaders with 913. He led the Eagles to the most wins ever in a single season in 1980-81 when Winthrop finished 31-8. He ranks among Winthrop’s career Top 10 leaders in 10 categories, including first place in points scored, field goals made, free throws made and rebounds.
