Henderson, a redshirt freshman from Mt. Pleasant, SC recorded her first career shutout in a 1-0 victory over The Citadel on Sept. 12.  Henderson posted three of her five saves in the second half after Winthrop took the lead on a 48th minute goal.  Henderson made a crucial save in the 84th minute of the game off of a free kick from The Citadel which was knuckling down and to Hnderson's left. to preserve the win.  On Friday, Sept. 14, Henderson recorded her second career shutout in a 2-0 victory over Francis Marion.  Henderson was called to action again in the 60th minute on a Francis Marion corner kick stopping a point blank shot in a crowd of players from the edge of the 6-yard box keeping the score at 1-0 for the Lady Eagles.  Henderson faced seven corner kicks in the second half and the 5'6 goalkeeper came off her line on two occasions to punch the ball clear preventing danger.
