Vensel recorded her first goal of the season, and first for the women's soccer team, in a 2-2 draw to Marshall on Aug. 27. The senior also led Winthrop with seven shots against the Thundering Herd, which is a new career-high for her, and also dished out two assists on the weekend. She currently leads the team in shots and is tied for first in goals and assists.
