The St. Louis, MO native posted a .533 (8-for-15) average at the plate with six runs scored, seven RBI, one triple and two home runs in four wins last week. He began his week with a 2-for-3 performance against the Furman Paladins and scored twice, walked twice and stole two bases against them. Gliebe then batted .500 (6-for-12) in the Eagles three-game sweep against the High Point Panthers. He singled and stole a base in the series opener, then went 3-for-4 with two three-run home runs on Saturday in game two. Both of his long balls gave Winthrop the lead. It was the first time an Eagle player had hit two home runs in a game since Chas Crane posted two homers against the VMI Keydets on May 27, 2010 in the Big South Tournament. Gliebe wrapped up his weekend with a 2-for-4 contest in the series finale, including an RBI triple as Winthrop rallied from a six-run deficit to win. He also scored twice and drew a walk in the finale. For the week, the senior had a .611 on-base percentage and a 1.067 slugging percentage.
