Winthrop University Athletics

Has hit .488 (21-for-43) in the month of May with four home runs and 11 RBI in 11 games played with 10 starts.  The four home runs are tied for the team-lead during May and the 11 runs driven in are highest on the team.  Gamblin also leads the team with 21 hits, an .837 slugging percentage and an on-base percentage of .511.  He tied the school record for hits in a game with five in a 15-12 win over Presbyterian on May 1 in which he went 5-for-5 at the plate.  Gamblin also posted a 4-for-4 night offensively for Winthrop in a 6-5 victory at VMI on May 14.
