Kevin Mills opened the 2017 season by capturing the Carolina Challenge in Columbia, SC on Saturday, Sept. 2. Mills made his way around the 5K race with a time of 15:22, which was 21 seconds more than the next runner. It was the third time Mills took first place in a meet during his career at Winthrop.
