Johnson earned Big South Conference Player of the Week honors the second straight week and third time this season. He helped the Eagles to wins over PC and at Campbell as the team remained in a tie for first place. Against PC he became the program's all-time Division I scoring leader and now has become just the second Winthrop player with 1,700 career points (1,702). It was the sixth time in his career he earned Big South weekly honors, which is the most by an individual in program history.
